While the exhibit will leave Columbus on October 10, 2009, the BIGG experience will not stop there. Selected works will travel to SOFA, The International Exposition of Sculpture Objects & Functional Art, November 6-8, 2009 on Navy Pier in Chicago. Ohio State undergraduate and graduate students from the Ceramics and Glass programs will travel to Chicago to help with the installation process, connect with Ohio State alumni in Chicago, and participate in the professional marketplace. Experiences like these are why the two programs were each ranked #6 by U.S. News & World Report.
In addition, lead sponsor Steuben Glass has invited BIGG to the Big Apple! Works that highlight the essence of the Columbus exhibition will be installed over the Thanksgiving holidays at Steuben's New York City Flagship Store on 667 Madison Avenue.
BIGG is on display until October 10, 2009 in Columbus, so be sure to stop in before it travels. For more information or gallery hours, visit uas.osu.edu or call 614-292-8861.
